To replace the timing belt on a Citroën C-Elysée, you need to disconnect the fuel pipes and the battery. Next, you must unscrew some Torx screws to remove the cover from the side of the engine. Then, remove the rivets that secure the wheel arch and disconnect the hose connected to the radiator from the bottom of the car. At this point, you need to lock the pulleys and loosen the central bolt of the tensioner roller to extract the old timing belt. Once it has been removed, you can fit a new replacement part and all the other previously removed components.
