How to Change the Front Shock Absorbers on a Citroen C4

Changing the front shock absorbers is important to ensure maximum safety while driving on any type of road surface. At first glance, it may seem like a rather difficult task, but with a bit of care, it can be done without problems. It is important to follow these instructions first on one side and then on the other. First, lift the car using a jack and proceed to remove the wheel. At this point, you can unscrew the two screws to detach the bottom of the shock absorber from the steering linkage. To complete the removal, you also need direct access to the top of the shock absorber. Proceed to remove the two wipers and the plastic frame. Completely unscrew the screw to fully free the shock absorber. Take the model you want to replace it with and reassemble it by executing the entire procedure in reverse order. Repeat the same action on the other side.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
