Instructions for Camshaft Replacement

Model: Citroen C5 DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2008

First, insert the new valve control pins, ensuring they are positioned correctly; then fit the levers and the new camshaft, generously lubricating the support and sliding surfaces; apply gasket sealant to the camshaft mounting plate and secure it by tightening the locking pins; finally, insert the side oil seals, taking care to lubricate them and push them in until fully seated. At this point, install the timing pulley, carefully aligning the timing marks and install the corresponding belt.
