To replace the battery on a Citroën Xsara Picasso, loosen the bolts that secure the seat rails at the rear of the driver's seat. This allows the seat to be fully raised by pushing it forward, providing access to the compartment underneath.

The device present can then be disconnected from its power cables and removed from its mounting bolts. At this point, insert the new battery into its place, connecting it and securing it with the appropriate screws.
