In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Citroen Xsara Picasso, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the battery is not located in the usual engine bay but is instead positioned beneath the driver's seat. To access it, you will need to undo the rear bolts of both brackets to lift the seat. Once done, disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative, remove the battery fixing bar, and take the battery out of its housing. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
