The fuel filter of the Citroen Xsara Picasso is located in the center of the engine block, therefore at the front of the vehicle. To access it, we must lift the hood of the engine compartment and remove the cover. At this point, once the filter is located, we must disconnect the electrical connector and disconnect the fuel lines. We proceed by emptying the filter of any remaining diesel: after placing a suitable container underneath it, we unscrew the drain screw. Then, we screw it back in and proceed to remove the filter cap, replace the gasket and the filter cartridge, and then reassemble the various parts.
