How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a Citroen Xsara Picasso?

The diesel filter on the Citroen Xsara Picasso is located at the centre of the engine block, at the front of the vehicle. To access it, lift the bonnet and remove the cover. Once you locate the filter, disconnect the electrical connector and detach the fuel lines. Proceed to drain the residual diesel from the filter: after placing a suitable container underneath, unscrew the bleed screw. Re-screw it and then remove the cap from the filter, replace the seal and the filter cartridge, and then reassemble the various parts.
