How to Properly Check Fluid Levels and Fuses on the Dacia Sandero
Model: Dacia Sandero
- Years 2021-2026
Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - To properly check the fluid levels on your Dacia Sandero, open the bonnet and start with the engine oil level: remove the yellow dipstick and clean it with a cloth, then reinsert it, remove it again, and check that the level is below the max mark. If it is close to the minimum, top up with oil of the same specifications. Next, check the coolant level: it should also be between min and max, and for topping up, use only antifreeze with the same specifications and colour as that present in the reservoir. Never open when the engine is hot. For the brake fluid reservoir (the transparent white one near the driver's side windscreen): this fluid theoretically does not get consumed, so if it drops, it means the brake pads are worn, and you should schedule a visit to the workshop as soon as possible. The windscreen washer fluid is in the blue reservoir with the wiper symbol on the cap. Add specific fluid and not water, which would damage the pipes and windscreen. If there are fuses to check, these are located in the lower part of the dashboard, on the left side near the steering wheel.
