How to Change the Timing Belt, Alternator Belt, and Water Pump on a Dacia Logan MCV 1.5

To change these important components, start by removing the front left wheel. Before mounting the jack, unscrew the bolts, then lift the vehicle. Remove the inner wheel arch liners, which are just clipped in place. Now open the bonnet, remove the alternator and the tensioner. Access the timing belt from the wheel hub. Unscrew the toothed wheel pin and remove the timing belt. This is not a simple task. When removing the water pump, let all the fluid drain into a suitable container for disposal at a designated centre. Refit the water pump, accessing it from the wheel hub. Also, refit the timing belt, ensuring the correct rotation direction and tension, then replace the tensioner. Refit the wheel and the alternator. The job is complete.
