How to Remove a Shock Absorber from a Fiat Ducato

Learn how to remove a shock absorber from a Fiat Ducato: loosen the wheel nuts, lift the vehicle on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Spray the shock absorber with penetrating fluid, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the plastic inner wheel arch. Now unscrew the oil pipe securing bolts and the vertical arm bolt. If the bolt does not come out, use a hammer and penetrating fluid. Lower the lift and unscrew the bolts on the side in the engine compartment, then slide the shock absorber out of its housing, separating the spring from it. Finally, fit the new spring and proceed with reassembly.
