How to Remove the Door Panel to Access the Lock on Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

To remove the door panel to access the lock on a Fiat Punto, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located in the upper lever space of the door opening and the screws present in the handle (after removing the plastic screw covers). Remove the audio speaker cover, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel off by hand and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power wiring and the opening cable). Remove the adhesive covering and perform maintenance on the lock.
