How to Replace the Rear Shock Absorbers of a Fiat Panda

Today, we will explain how to replace the rear shock absorbers of a Fiat Panda model 2 independently. To remove the rear shock absorbers, lift the rear of the vehicle and remove the left and right rear wheels. Using a socket wrench with a 15 mm insert, unscrew the upper fastening bolt of the shock absorber, and with an 18 mm socket wrench with an extension, remove the lower fastening bolt. Remove the shock absorber and insert the new one, pumping several times in the cylinder. Position the shock absorber and mount the lower fastening bolt using a torque wrench. With the help of a jack, align the bolt housing and secure the shock absorber support by inserting the upper bolt. Remove the jack and perform the same operation for the left rear shock absorber. Refit the rear wheels and lower the vehicle.
