How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a Fiat Ducato (or Peugeot Boxer)

The filter is located in the engine compartment, behind the headlight on the driver's side. Disconnect the upper and lower connectors, then disconnect the fuel lines, and at this point, you can extract the filter. Before dismantling, mark the position references (top and bottom) with a marker; these will be needed to correctly orient the new filter. Use a large spanner to unscrew the cap, but do not force too much to avoid deforming the filter. Slide the old filter out of its housing, clean the internal container of any deposits, and replace the seals, which should be oiled before mounting. You can find the filter on Amazon with code B079DWKR2H for £26.48 with free delivery. Insert the new filter into the housing, re-screw the cap respecting the previously marked references, and then reconnect everything. Turn on the ignition and let the filling pump activate for 30 seconds. Repeat twice.
