How to remove the steering wheel of a Fiat 600? This operation is very simple if you follow the steps. Insert a screwdriver or bit (medium length) into the side holes of the steering wheel and unscrew the securing bolts. Once the bolts are removed: disconnect the airbag with the respective power connectors. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt located at the centre of the steering wheel, and extract it from the steering column. For reassembly of the steering wheel: connect the power connector, then insert the steering wheel into the steering column, press it with your hands until it is fully seated, and screw in the securing bolts.
