To disassemble the door handle of a Fiat 500, the first thing we have to do is prepare all the material necessary to carry out a correct job: a TORX wrench, screwdriver, hard plastic lever to easily remove the panel. For a safety issue, we proceed to disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. With a small screwdriver we try to remove all the covers present in the panel; remove the two screws on the handle, start pulling from the bottom and unhooking the pressure pins; now remove the piece around the handle being careful that the plastic is delicate; now you can remove the third vine that presents itself to you; now unhook the cable of the inside handle and with a lever we detach the panel of the covering, then the adhesive panel of the door being careful not to break it, we can help ourselves with a cutter. Unscrew the screw located on the external side of the door, then the nut of the handle pin located inside; We also release the cable that allows the opening of the lever. We check that the handle to be replaced is the right one. We put on the handle and reconnect the dipstick. We reassemble all the parts, proceeding backwards, with respect to what has been described.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
