How to replace the rear axle silent blocks on the Fiat Panda?

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

To replace the rear axle silent blocks on a Fiat Panda, follow these steps: remove the rear wheel, then remove the shock absorber using a 15 mm spanner for the upper bolt and a 19 mm socket for the lower bolt. Once the shock absorber is removed, the spring will come out on its own. Continue by removing the rear drum by unscrewing the 4 bolts with a 17 mm spanner. Disconnect the brake lines from their clips and brackets, and remove the oil pipe from the drum, placing a container underneath. After removing the drum, use a 5 mm Torx to remove the bolt holding the ABS pipe connector (be careful not to break it). With the drum removed, proceed to take off the rear arm using a 17 mm socket and a 19 mm spanner for the arm bolts. Once the arm is removed, take out the silent blocks using a press (in the video, the arm was taken to a centre with a press available). After replacing the silent blocks, reinsert the arm into its position and reassemble in reverse order of disassembly. Remember that after reassembling everything, you need to bleed the brakes, where one person inside the car presses the brake pedal while you simultaneously open the bleed valve. When air has escaped, press the brake pedal for 3 seconds and repeat the bleeding process 3 to 4 times. After replacing the silent blocks, visit a professional to perform a wheel alignment. Repeat the same operation on the other side.
