How to Change the Oil, Oil Filter, and Air Filter on a Fiat Doblò

To replace the air filter, engine oil, and oil filter, start by raising the front of the vehicle and placing axle stands on either side. Go over to the engine, disconnect the clip of the air filter hose, unscrew the screw holding the hose, and move it aside. Now you can remove the air filter by simply pulling it out; take the new filter, insert it into its housing, screw the hose back on, and reattach the clip. With the hose in place, go underneath the vehicle where you will find the oil filter which you will unscrew with a suitable spanner (placing a container underneath), let the oil drain, and insert the new oil filter. After fitting the new oil filter, remove the oil drain plug with a socket spanner, let the oil drain into a container, and once drained, clean the drain plug and screw it back into the sump. Once the drain plug is secured, go back to the engine, unscrew the oil filler cap, insert a funnel, and pour in the litres specified by the manufacturer; when you are close to the indicated litres, pull out the oil dipstick, clean it, reinsert it, and check the level; if the level is at the "max" mark, it is fine, otherwise top up as necessary.
