How to Top Up Engine Oil in a Fiat 500

In this guide, you will learn how to top up the oil in a Fiat 500. First, note that an oil change is required every 15,000 miles. The top-up can be done before reaching this mileage whenever you check the level with the dipstick and see it has decreased. To top up, since this is not an oil change, you do not need to drain the tank by unscrewing the drain plug located at the bottom of the car; simply open the cap on the left side of the engine, next to the dipstick you will use to measure the level. Once the cap is open, insert a funnel and pour in the oil, as shown at minute 5:10. After topping up, use the dipstick to check the level. When the level is correct, simply replace the cap, ensuring it is securely tightened, and close the bonnet.
