Resetting the Inertia Switch on a Fiat Grande Punto

The inertia switch is a device introduced in cars to stop the fuel flow in case of an accident, preventing potential fires. Conceptually, it consists of a ball held in a conical seat by a magnet. If this device experiences a violent deceleration, the ball exits its seat and cuts power to the fuel pump, stopping the flow. Once the danger has passed and the integrity of your Fiat Grande Punto has been verified, reset the inertia switch. Sitting in the front passenger seat, just below the glove compartment, to the right on the trim that stops the covering, you will see an opening where, by inserting your fingers, you will find a switch. Pressing this will restore the fuel flow.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel. Under this panel, you will find the fuses, including the one for the central locking, which is indicated in the manual as number 14.
