To remove the fuel tank, position the vehicle on suitable car stands to facilitate access to the underbody; then disconnect the hose connecting the filler cap to the tank, the fuel outlet and return lines attached to the pump, and also the pump's power cables; unscrew the tank's fastening bolts and remove it from its location.

As this is a metal tank, corrosion, likely exacerbated by salt used on snowy roads, has practically perforated it: newer vehicles have fuel tanks made of plastic.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
