How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Fiat Seicento

Model: Fiat Seicento MK 1 - Years 1998-2010
Part: Fuel pump

The low-pressure fuel pump functions to transfer fuel from the tank to the engine, especially during the ignition phase: when the ignition is turned on, an electric pump submerged directly in the tank is activated (you can usually hear its characteristic sound) and is attached to the so-called bucket, which, in addition to the pump, houses the float system for the fuel level indicator on the dashboard; to replace this device, simply remove the passenger seat and access the pump housing by disconnecting the connector, pipes, and unscrewing the corresponding fixing flange.
