Operation: How to change the timing belt of the Fiat Stilo

Replacing the timing belt is a maintenance that for no reason should be neglected since its failure could cause irreparable damage to the engine; therefore the belt must be replaced within 120,000 km or five years; to carry out the replacement, lift the car from the passenger side and remove both the wheel and the internal lining to access the crankshaft pulley; in the engine compartment remove the coolant reservoir and the plastic timing cover; then remove the auxiliary belt, align the timing references and loosen the tensioner to remove the toothed belt; also replace the water pump and proceed backwards to install the new belt, also replacing the pulley and the tensioner, paying attention to the relative adjustment.

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery.
