How to Bleed the Car Heating System

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

If you find that warm air is not coming from the ventilation outlets when the cabin heater is activated, and the temperature gauge for the coolant tends to go beyond the central position, it is likely that air has entered the circuit that must be bled; once the front bonnet is opened, locate the bleed valve at the rear of the engine, along the hose that runs from the thermostat to the cabin radiator; at this point, start the engine and open the bleed valve to let all the air escape, closing it only after liquid flows out for a few seconds; at the end of the operation, check the coolant level in the reservoir.
