How to reset the fuel inertia switch on the Fiat Ducato

Model: Fiat Ducato X250 - Years 2006-2014
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video we can see how to restart the fuel inertia switch on a Fiat Ducato. The YouTuber experienced that after a rather abrupt maneuver, the engine started to lose power and the vehicle stopped. Fortunately, he was not on the highway, otherwise it would have been a very serious problem. The inertia switch had been activated, but if you don't know what caused the issue, you can remain stuck for hours. In reality, reactivating it is very simple, if you know how to do it. The reset switch is located on the passenger side, and can be reached with a finger, pressing it down until you feel a slight click and then you can restart the vehicle, even though a warning light will remain on the dashboard, which can be eliminated with an EOBD reader, even a cheap one. The OBD port is located in a compartment near the steering wheel. Look for the error which is P0190 and delete it.
