How do you reset the Service light on the Ford S-Max?

Model: Ford S Max MK 1 - Years 2006-2016

In order to reset the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Ford S-Max, you need to simultaneously press the accelerator and brake pedals: this way you will be able to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it. By doing so, a message will appear confirming that the reset is in progress: you can release the pedals once the reset is complete and then finish the reset procedure by completely turning off the instrument panel.
