To reset the Service light that appears on the instrument cluster of the Ford S-Max, press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. This will allow you to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it. You will see a message indicating that the reset is in progress; you can release the pedals once the reset is complete, and then finish the reset procedure by turning off the instrument cluster completely.
