Replacing the key battery in a Ford Kuga is a very simple and quick operation to perform independently, aided by our brief video tutorial. To carry out this operation, press the sides of the remote to open the top and remove the emergency key inside.

Insert the key to lever it out and then remove the remote cover to replace the battery with a CW2032 3 Volt. Close the cover and reassemble the top of the remote. Go near the vehicle to test the remote's functionality.
