How to clean the EGR valve in the Ford Focus?

In this tutorial we can see how to clean the EGR valve in the Ford Focus, a very simple operation to be carried out for example in case the engine performance is no longer optimal. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down, then we open the hood and remove the plastic cover. We then move the various indicated wiring, unscrew the two fixing bolts with a Torx T30 key and disconnect the sensor connector. At this point we can remove the valve from the support, clean it using one of the specific solvents and reassemble it following the reverse procedure.
