In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and clean the EGR valve on a 2008 Ford Focus. First we open the bonnet and remove the wipers by also removing the plastic bulkhead with a torx key: then we remove the panel and remove the two screws of the EGR valve located behind the diesel filter. At this point, if we want to, let's go and clean our valve from unburned exhaust deposits: to do this, let's equip ourselves with special degreasing products that we find in auto parts stores and spray in the encrustations to clean them! Once cleaned, reassemble everything!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
