How do the headlight settings of Ford vehicles work?

In this video we can see how the headlight settings of Ford vehicles work. It is demonstrated on a Ford Explorer, but in general this video is valid for all vehicles of the brand. The headlight control is located on the left side of the steering wheel and is operated by a knob with various positions: when the headlight with the "A" is illuminated, it means that the automatic mode is activated and the car will detect with its sensors when to turn on the headlights at night. Instead, the light without the "A" indicates the activation of the daytime running lights. The double opposite lights are those of the nighttime driving, while if we put the knob on the circle, then all the lights are off. The fog lights are turned on by pressing the button on the knob, but only with the daytime or nighttime lights on. If the knob is in automatic mode, it will detect the need to turn on the fog lights on its own.
