How to remove the factory radio of the Ford Escape 2

If you want to disassemble the factory radio inside the cabin of your second-generation Ford Escape on your own, just follow the steps described below. First of all, get into the car and make sure it is turned off, then proceed to remove the plastic cover above the radio and unscrew the two screws. Next, remove the small button panel located at the bottom of the central dashboard and disconnect the electrical cable. Finally, pull the radio towards you and disconnect the electrical cables to complete the procedure.
