How to restore the oil light on the 2015 Ford Escape

When the oil pressure warning light continues to illuminate on the instrument panel display of your third generation Ford Escape (2015) even after you have recently changed the oil, do not worry because you can easily reset it manually by following these steps. Once you are in the driver's seat, insert the key and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. Without starting the engine of your Ford Escape, press and hold down the accelerator and brake pedals until the oil pressure warning light is reset on the display. Finally, release both pedals and turn off the instrument panel.
