How to remove the clutch on a Ford Focus? Disconnect the battery terminals to protect the car's components. Lift the vehicle on a column lift to the desired height. Next, remove the plastic panel covering the engine (if present at the bottom) using the respective pins. Remove the front wheels for better access and use a socket to undo the hub nuts and take them off. Drain the oil from the gearbox and keep it for reuse. Locate the gear lever; there are two pins underneath that hold the clutch in tension. Remove all clutch components. Fit the new clutch disc with the associated parts. Proceed with reassembly in reverse order.
