How to Change the Rear Brake Disc on a Ford Transit

Learn how to change the rear brake disc along with the brake pads on a Ford Transit. First, lift the vehicle on a column jack to the desired height, then remove the wheel using a socket wrench or air drill with the respective bolts. Unscrew the caliper locking bolt, then remove the caliper from the caliper bracket; use a socket to detach the caliper bracket from the wheel hub. Once the brake disc is free, unscrew the screws with a spanner and detach the disc from the wheel hub. Disconnect the various wiring and brake fluid hoses from the wheel assembly. Prepare to fit the new disc along with the brake pads, caliper, caliper bracket, and all components. Proceed with reassembly in reverse order.
