How to Remove the Door Panel on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Follow these steps to remove the left door panel on a Ford Focus: disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay, then using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws in the space for the upper door opening lever and the screws in the handle (after removing the plastic cover beneath the handle). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (unplug the wiring harness and the opening cable). Remove the adhesive covering and unscrew the handle and lock using the appropriate key; replace the lock and reassemble everything in reverse order.
