How to Reset the Service Light in a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018

To reset the service light on a Ford Focus, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Fully press the accelerator pedal while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal. Keep both pedals pressed for about 15 seconds while the ignition remains on. The display will show a message indicating that the engine oil reset is in progress. Continue to hold the pedals until the confirmation of the reset appears. At this point, release the pedals and turn off the ignition. Then turn the ignition back on to check that the maintenance light is no longer present on the display.
