How to Replace the Instrument Cluster Display on Ford CMax

Model: Ford C Max MK 2 - Years 2010-2019

To replace the instrument cluster display, proceed as follows: detach the plastic trim located above the steering wheel by pulling it towards you; unscrew the two Torx screws beneath the instrument cluster, and use a flathead screwdriver to pry the instrument cluster out of its housing. Disconnect the wiring by first lifting the black locking tab and then separate the black rear part of the instrument cluster using the screwdriver. Now you can detach the display connector by gently pulling it out and replace it with the new one (reconnect the connector as before). Reassemble the rear part, and after reconnecting the wiring harness, reposition the instrument cluster, screw in the two Torx screws, and secure the plastic trim above the steering wheel.
