Operation: How to replace the Ford CMax instrument cluster display

To replace the instrument panel display, proceed as follows: remove the plastic frame located above the steering wheel by pulling it towards you; unscrew the two torx screws under the instrument panel and, with an Italian screwdriver, lever the instrument panel to remove it from its seat. Remove the wiring harness by first lifting the black closing tab and then proceed to separate the black rear part of the instrument panel always using the screwdriver. Now you can detach the display clamp by pulling it out gently and replace it with the new one (reconnect the clamp as before). Reassemble the rear part and, after reconnecting the cable harness, reposition the instrument panel in its seat, tighten the two torx screws and fix the plastic frame above the steering wheel.
