How to Check the Levels on the Ford Focus III 1.0 Ecoboost

Start with the engine oil: pull out the dipstick and wipe it with a cloth, then reinsert it and pull it out again. The perfect level is below the "max", never above. If it is low, add a little oil at a time. Now check the coolant, open the expansion tank and bring the level to maximum: the liquid should be the same colour as what is already present. The brake fluid level drops because the pads are wearing down: if it is below maximum, add some; you will remove it when you change the pads. Add the screen wash fluid (never tap water, as it would damage the nozzles and the glass).
