How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford S-Max

You can completely clear the Service light from the instrument cluster of the Ford S-Max by simultaneously pressing the accelerator and brake pedals: this way, you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding ignition switch and turn it. Doing so will show a message stating that the reset is completing: you can release the pedals when the reset is complete, and then finish the reset procedure by turning off the ignition and removing the key from the lock.
