How to Reset the Service Light on the Ford S Max?

If you have decided to change the engine oil yourself in your Ford S Max, as the service interval has been reached, you also need to reset the warning light on the dashboard, usually shaped like a spanner. To do this, follow this sequence: turn on the ignition, press the brake and accelerator pedals, and wait for the message 'Reset Service Complete' to appear on the onboard computer. Once this is done, release the pedals, turn off the ignition, and turn it back on to check that the light has indeed been reset.
