Resetting the Tire Pressure Light on a 2009 Ford F-150

The procedure to reset the tire light on the 2009 Ford F-150 requires a special tool available at an automotive accessory retailer. Once you have obtained it, you can start the reset. Press and release the accelerator pedal, then turn the ignition on three times in a row. On the third time, press the accelerator pedal, release it, and turn off the ignition. Repeat the on/off sequence again, and on the third time, without pressing the accelerator pedal, turn on the tire reset tool where you will select the make and model of the vehicle. After that, bring it close to each wheel, pressing the tire sensor detection button. An audible alert will inform you that the value for that wheel has been recorded, and you can press OK and move to the next one. Once done for all four wheels, the light will be reset.
