How to reset the service on a Ford Kuga MK1

Model: Ford Kuga C394, MK 1 - Years 2008-2012

This reset procedure is correct not only for the Ford Kuga MK1 but for most Fords of that era: turn on the ignition, press the accelerator pedal fully and hold it down; then press the brake pedal fully and hold it down at the same time as the accelerator. Keep both pedals pressed for 10 to 15 seconds; a service message will appear on the display saying 'oil service reset completed'. At that point, you can release both pedals. Turn off the ignition, wait a moment, and turn it back on to verify that the service light is now actually off.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
