How to reset the service light on a Ford Transit

To reset the service light on a Ford Transit, you need to turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Next, press and hold the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously for about 20-30 seconds. After this interval, a message will appear on the instrument panel display indicating the start and completion of the maintenance interval reset procedure. At this point, you can release both pedals, turn off the instrument panel and wait a few seconds. Finally, turn the ignition back on to check that the service light has been correctly cleared and that the new maintenance interval has been recorded by the system.
