How to Change Oil and Filter on a Ford Edge

Learn how to remove the engine oil and filter on a Ford Edge. Lift the car on a column lift (jack), unscrew the oil sump plug and let the liquid drain into a container (replace the plug). Using a strap wrench, unscrew the large oil filter located next to the oil sump. Remove the worn oil filter and place a new one inside. Lower the car and lift the front bonnet; top up the engine with new oil (check the level with the dipstick). Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
