Replace the Thermostat on a Ford Mondeo

Is the thermostat faulty? Learn how to replace the part. Remove the central grille and the right headlamp to access the thermostat. Unscrew the bolts on the thermostat hose cap (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets), disconnect the connector, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, reconnect the power, and tighten the securing bolts with all its parts. Ensure the thermostat valve is correctly inserted and fitted in the appropriate housing. Refit the right headlamp and the grille.
