Thermostat Replacement Instructions

The thermostat valve replacement must be done when the engine is cold as you will come into contact with the coolant. The valve is located beneath the power steering pump: to replace it, you must remove the pump itself; during this operation, it is advisable to also remove the left front wheel and the corresponding wheel arch; once the power steering pump is removed, it is very easy to access the fixing bolts of the thermostat valve: before unscrewing the bolts, disconnect the hoses and allow the coolant to drain out; then complete the installation of the new valve by reversing the steps.
