The pump that generates the vacuum controlling some actuators is located just below the rocker cover, on the right side when facing the engine bay; to replace it, you must remove the air duct, disconnect the battery, and take off the rocker cover, being careful not to damage the gasket; then disconnect the hoses attached to the pump and unscrew the mounting bolts securing the pump to the cylinder head to remove it from its seat; apply the gasket to the new pump and proceed in reverse for installation.
