How to Remove Alternator from Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Replace the damaged alternator fitted on a Ford Focus. Open the front bonnet where the engine is located. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Disconnect the terminals. Identify the alternator. Remove the belt, then undo the fixing bolts with a socket spanner, taking care not to damage the wiring harness. If necessary, access from underneath the splash guard. Undo all the securing bolts of the alternator. Once disassembly is complete, remove the alternator. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing. Tighten the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Test with a multimeter to check if it charges the battery.
