Removing Turbocharger from Ford Focus

Removing a turbocharger may seem complex, but if you have some experience, it is achievable even for a DIY enthusiast. Start by removing the engine cover, then the air filter along with the attached rubber intake hose feeding the turbocharger. Next, remove the metal protective cover and the strap connecting to the exhaust pipe, using sturdy screwdrivers to pry it off, and continue removing all hoses in the order shown. Now, remove the remaining metal cover to access the turbocharger locking pins. Finally, detach the lower metal pipe and the last rubber hoses.
