Replacing the Idle Control Valve

First, ensure that the bonnet remains safely open so you can work comfortably. The idle control valve (ICV) is located at the rear, near the throttle cable.

You will need to remove the intake duct and throttle body: the valve is situated just below the throttle body, positioned laterally to the flange to which the throttle body is attached; unscrew the valve's mounting bolts, remove it, and replace it with the new one, also changing the gasket.

Once the installation is complete, you may need to reset the engine warning light.
