Replacing the Starter Motor on a Ford Mondeo

Is the starter motor damaged and you don't know how to remove it? Here's how to take it off a Mondeo. Disconnect the battery power cables. Remove the soundproofing panel from the engine using a socket and needle-nose pliers, along with the attached wires. Disconnect the starter motor power terminals using pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the pressure of the tabs. If you have difficulty removing the starter motor, lift the car and work from underneath. Unscrew the starter motor mounting bolts with a socket and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new starter motor with the power cables and the associated mounting screws. Start the vehicle.
