Steering Wheel and Airbag Removal on Ford S Max

Model: Ford S Max MK 1 - Years 2006-2016

On the protective cover behind the steering wheel, there are two slots on the sides: insert a small flat screwdriver into these slots to release the clips and remove the plastic cover. Now access the back of the steering wheel and repeat a similar operation: insert the flat screwdriver into the rear slots of the steering wheel, pushing the tabs until you see the airbag come out of its housing. At this point, simply disconnect the connector and you're done. Reverse the steps for reassembly.
